From Rebellion to Restoration: Discovering God's Radical Love

God is not a far off, distant God. He is a living flame of love who is calling out to us with an invitation to experience the depth of His love.

Key Takeaways:

#1: Recognize your need for God.

You can live for yourself, but it never ends well. Life is better in the Father’s house.

#2: Remember God’s extravagant grace.

No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done or how long you’ve been gone, His salvation is for you!

#3: Repent of being the older brother.

Don’t let your heart grow cold. Allow yourself to be crucified so that you can see the Father’s heart toward others.

5 Day Bible Reading Plan:

Day 1: Psalm 136:1-9

Day 2: Luke 15:11-24

Day 3: 1 John 4:9-10

Day 4: Isaiah 53:3-6

Day 5: Romans 8:38-39

Personal Reflection Questions:

#1: Have I ever felt unworthy of God's love due to my mistakes or sins? How does the story of the prodigal son challenge that perception?

#2: How can I daily remember God’s love for me?

#3: Have I found myself acting like the older brother, resentful or judgmental of others? How can I cultivate a heart of celebration and compassion instead?
