Surrending All

We must take a step back and ask ourselves if we see giving as a box to check or an area to surrender to God? If it’s a box to be checked, we’ll ask “how much do I need to give?” But if it’s an area to surrender, we’ll ask “How much do I really need to keep?” Money makes a terrible god and the sooner we smash the idol, the better. We are to love the Lord our God with all that we have.
