Advent of Joy

Have you ever been forgotten by someone who should have remembered you? That awkward wave… the confused look… the quiet sting of rejection.

At Christmas, God chose to step into that exact reality — knowing He wouldn’t be recognized, knowing He’d be rejected — and He came anyway.

Why?

Because it brings God joy to seek after those who don’t recognize Him and to welcome us as sons and daughters.

This week’s message from John 1 reminds us:

✨ God sends a messenger

✨ God endures rejection

✨ God adopts us into His family

No matter how far you feel, no matter how many times you’ve walked away — the Father’s arms are still open and that is cause for great joy!
